a scientist means that you have to understand math as a fundamental
If you are a biologist you have to understand plants and animals' behavior
if you are a physicist you have to understand the theory of relativity and the bigbang
if you are a chemist you will go deep down to the smallest part of everything that is electron

Dear, to be a scientist it's not only about studying the exact thing, it's more blurry than you think.
